Let's Get This Started

Hi. We're starting a book club/discussion group/thing. We're planning on mostly reading books pertaining to philosophy, religion and politics.

Bonus points if you can figure out what our name is about.

The first book we're going to read is The Myth of Religious Neutrality: An Essay on the Hidden Role of Religious Belief in Theories by Roy A. Clouser.

Our tentative meeting schedule looks like this:

Week 1: Chapters 1-3 (~60 pages)
Week 2: Chapters 4, 5 (~50 pages)
Week 3: Chapters 6-8 (~50 pages)
Week 4: Chapters 9-10.5 (~60 pages)
Week 5: Chapters 10.6-11 (~50 pages)
Week 6: Chapter 12-Afterword (~60 pages)

We're hoping to begin this Saturday. Not everyone (including myself) has the book yet, so that's an obstacle. We'll see what happens.

Meetings will occur on Google+ and we'll post the videos here.

Well, I think that's everything for now. Bye.
